About Croftway Crafts

A mechanical engineer by profession, Chris’ woodturning is reserved for evenings and weekends, to fit around his full-time job. More recently, he has expanded his repertoire to include bandsaw woodcrafts, burn detailing, and painted coloured pieces.

In addition to woodturning, Chris also enjoys countryside walks and is a dinghy sailor, having been a member of Burton Sailing Club at Foremark Reservoir in his native Derbyshire for over 15 years.

Unique Handmade Woodwork

As wood is a natural material which benefits from the beauty of natural variation, no two pieces are the same. Due to this uniqueness and the varying availability of different types of wood, particularly exotic varieties, all products are listed individually on the website. Once an item is sold, it unfortunately cannot be replicated exactly.

However, we do accept bespoke commissions if there is something you are looking for in particular. To discuss your vision and requirements for a commissioned piece, please get in touch with us.
